So, I've finally gotten around to buying myself a memory stick for my PSP and decided to first things first put some games on it. So I downloaded some emulators and put them (along with a handful of ROMs I had) on my PSP. Problem: Whenever I try to open the software, I get a message like "Cannot be opened, cause it's defect", which it certainly is NOT.
After browsing through the webs, I found that a firmware 5.03 (which I have) wouldn't accept homebrew software at all, so I looked for some way to downgrade my PSP. However, that looked too dangerous, so I tried ChickHEN (which apparently didn't do anything at all - I couldn't find it) and MHUSPEED v3 (which didn't do anything either, but at least I could see where it was). And I still can't use any homebrewn software.
So... Anyone here have a PSP? Or at least could provide me with a VERY comprehensive tutorial? I looked through the internet far and wide, but I didn't find a freakin' thing!

Just to make something clear: I will not reply to daft PMs like "Where can I find X?" or "Can you give me a link to Y?". Most of your questions are likely answerable if only you took your bloody time to look through these forums and use Google if all else fails. Sheesh...
