And no, I think it's possible to do with normal graphics too. Check this, I've not yet tried this, but will try soon if you couldn't do it.Norbert wrote: ↑February 6th, 2021, 11:10 pmMaybe it only works with the caped prince , similar to trick 83.atrueprincefanfrom18 wrote: ↑February 6th, 2021, 11:07 am Seems like an old trick, but not yet listed on PoPOT. Similar to 65.
One problem with the YouTube video is that the player (Suave) does not show the viewer how to get into the trick starting position.
It's also difficult to tell what is the exact starting position, because of the custom environment graphics.
Various different SNES-like VDUNGEON.DAT files exist too, so I can't easily tell which one to compare with.
Anyway, I've been unable to replicate the trick.

I'll add the trick soon, and I'll edit this post once done.

No way!!!
I used debug cheats (in SDLPoP) to get to that below room, but never tried and never thought that we could use that guard.
Let me try this today.
BTW, is it saving time? (I think it should).

Not able to replicate it... Norbert, were you?

Unfortunately, I currently lack the time to give this a try.atrueprincefanfrom18 wrote: ↑February 28th, 2021, 6:07 am Not able to replicate it... Norbert, were you?
This is also a new trick, right?
Similar to 23...
...but with the characters 'swapped'.
Re: Guide to Prince of Persia tricks (Large Topic)
Well, we always thought it was possible. I mean we have all seen the guards and prince get pushed through walls. But, how to do this was literally discovered by someone using Cheat engine who was slowly stepping through the events.

I doubt I will ever have the WR again. These new players are much better than me, and surpassed me in a much shorter time.SuavePrince wrote: ↑March 1st, 2021, 6:44 am You can now break the speedrun, but can be fast level 2..Congrats
