You're almost right.
"Original Trilogy" refers to PoP 1, PoP 2, and PoP 3D.
In the Play menu and on the Get the Games page, these are the three main categories. (SNES PoP is under PoP1.)
PoPUW has these on its main page as well.

However, I see where you're coming from:
PoP 3D doesn't have custom levels or a level editor (at least I don't know of any), it's rather different from the 2D PoP games, and we don't discuss it much in this forum, so it's easy to forget about it.
Meanwhile, for SNES PoP we have level editors, quite a few mods have been made for it, and we have discussed this game a lot.

By the way, the Original Trilogy is in contrast to the New Trilogy, which are PoP: The Sands Of Time, PoP: Warrior Within, and PoP: The Two Thrones.

I've just added two new mods to PoPOT manually (Amogh's Levelset 1 and Youran's Levelset 1).
With the exception of Shauing's upcoming SNES mod, I will temporarily (1-2 months, I expect) not add new mods.
This will allow me to focus on adding the new functionality.

I'm modifying PoPOT to allow users to add and modify their own mods themselves.
In the future, you can add ZIP files and screenshots etc. yourself, and don't need me to do it.
This takes time for me to implement.

I think because he wanted to control mods before being available in the website which is a completely logical reason because some people might have submitted mods where they just change one level or they make similar mods or also someone may submit one mod than change one level and submit it again.
Actually these are logic reasons but Norbert should think carefully about them before adding this new functionality and even after that maybe he, or someone else should control submissions to avoid these problems.

Hmm... Yes, this is a good point to think about. Let's say if bots make multiple fake accounts, all uploading fake ZIPs, it can cause problems. Yes, someone should control. Maybe Norbert can make someone admin or moderator who is more active and can give some time daily for updates on mods and other things.
