It is a book published by Jordan Mechner, the creator of Prince of Persia.
The book includes the journals he wrote while creating the game.
You can read part of the book here.
The full book is available as paperback and kindle (and EPUB/PDF, see this website).

The specific picture that Aram posted seems to be the Korean translation of the book.
I didn't even know the book was translated to other languages.

Now, that is a doubly impossible room.
It's impossible to finish; but it's also impossible to create with a level editor.
(At least in PoP DOS. MININIM might have support for things like the torch without floor.)

Since I don't have SMM, it would be good if there was a video of this mod, but I could not find any...

By the way, this is not the first time someone remakes PoP in another game.

Seems like the Prince and Jaffar found a less violent way to solve their conflict.
I find the movement of the ball somewhat jumpy, though.
