As I see the map of level 1, there is no the way shorter unless u've found wild bug exploitment (sometimes happens that Prince can fall occasionally through the floor to the room below or grab the ledge in upper room when he makes a long jump to the next screen). However I didn't try hard to make a shortcut of this on practice=)

BTW I've discovered shortcut in the beginning of level 2, and you can pass it without using room on 0:33 of your vid, you don't need this room with lots of gates and trigger buttons at all;)

it you learn when you will play extrem 2 . It really there is rather big short way, you can economic 1:30 minutes
