My fourth PoP mod (unnamed as of yet)

Post by mk1995 »

You heard me right - I'm working on another PoP modification after months of retirement. So far, only level changes have been done.

It's on a demo state! Download here!

And a note beforehand: I'll do my best to make life potions as hard to get as possible. So if you're aiming for a "completely max out life" playthrough, prepare to have to restart a level multiple times...

My greatest apologies, but that's gonna be the only thing you'll be seeing for a while. The next update will be when I completed all the levels and altered the graphics. But take heart! You can see my progress here:

Demo Level: 100%
Level 1 through 4: 100%
Level 5: 10%
Level 6 through 13: 0% (in line)
Visuals: 0% (in line)
Executable: 90% (I still need to get past some complications; during the meantime you'll have to put up with the original PRINCE.EXE)

Legend:
0% - in line
0% (about to begin) - 25%
25% - 75%
75% - 99%
100%

Just to make something clear: I will not reply to daft PMs like "Where can I find X?" or "Can you give me a link to Y?". Most of your questions are likely answerable if only you took your bloody time to look through these forums and use Google if all else fails. Sheesh...

Looking forward to it as well

How come you're not counting '4-Room Levelset' as one of your mods? It has all 14 levels edited.

In my eyes, a mod has not only the levels and the executable altered - altered overall visuals matter, as well. If I counted all my levelsets as mods, this'd be my 9th mod, I think...

Level 3 is in progress (roughly 80% done). I presume to have the demo version done within this week.

I hate tripleposting, but nobody seems to be interested in my mod... Level 3 is done - only one more level to go until you get to play the demo version!

I don't know whom you're referring to by 'nobody' but MK you are getting moral support from possibly the last few PoP1 players left on earth. I guess this is not something you're used to...

Well, I was hoping there'd be more talk than that after each upgrade... But then again, the last times I released a mod was when it was already done. This is actually my first time I'm releasing an edited PoP before it's 100% done.

MK, is there a story in it, or just the random story? :P

The kind of story you call "random" is not random at all. More fitting would be "generic". But I'm not quite sure about the story yet. Heck, I don't even have a name for the mod!

Simply brilliant!
I have more to say but won't unless you give me the OK. Please indicate what you prefer not to be discussed (or spoiled) about levels 1-4.
