Hi there, so it is possible to beat level 4 without crossing the mirror. It's a bit complicated

Re: Level 4 Mirrorless
Haha! Nice. But how to replicate it? It just seems unrealistic to replicate it. What are the steps to replicate this? Also after you raise the exit door, as you go through the wall, is it a new trick? How to replicate it, can you explain?
Re: Level 4 Mirrorless
Hi TruePrince,
All you need to replicate it is on the video description:
RNG Seed and Initial loose tile sound represent the current state of the random number generator. Given that you have this RNG state at the very beginning of level 4, the move sequence above will replicate the entire video on DOS PoP v1.0 on any computer/emulator. The sequence is represented as S = Shift, R = Right, L = Left, U = Up, D = Down, . = Nothing.
On a less technical level, the video employs bunch of tricks, besides the well-known guard skips and gate open trick. It uses guard-teleportation, where we moonwalk with the guard towards the very (non-visible) edge of the screen and then hit him with the sword to have him teleport to the right edge thanks to integer overflow. Then we, use wall clip twice (one with the guard and one with the kid) to do the mirrorless thing.
Let me know if I can clarify anything else.

Re: Level 4 Mirrorless
To sum up: it's very complicated to do for a human being
Re: Level 4 Mirrorless
Pretty cool that this is possible.
But, yeah, more or less impossible to do without a tool.
