What would you say is the most difficult level of your mod?
Those guards aren't a real threat to me. ;)

Hi Guys,
thx for the compliments!

The most difficult level?

Hmm, I would mean it is level 11. Ten guards with a strength of 8 lives and a skill of 10 ... sounds like a real challenge. :)
But you are right, Norbert, it could be better. So the next level-sets will contain the most awful guards of persia! :)

By the way: Did you find the secret floor in level 9?

Greetz,

Thomas

In my opinion, guards with a lot of hit points (health) usually do not make mods better and do not make mods harder.

Several other mods have guards with a similar amount of hit points as the guards in your mod.
An example is the mod Return to Persia.
Other mods have guards with even more hit points.
An example is Battle Hardened III, which has guards with up to 70 hit points.
See its trailer here.

Let's say, hypothetically, a guard has 1000 hit points.
That guard isn't harder for players who know how to deal with guards.
It would just be more tedious/tiresome.

We either pass guards without fighting them...

...or we push them into objects, so they lose their defense...

...or we push them into chompers (metal jaws)...
...or we push them to lower floors...

Usually, if guards are hard, it's not because of their hit points.
Three or so hit points is enough.
They are hard because of the locations they are in.
Or because the prince doesn't have his sword (see, for example, videos of Prince Unique).
Or because the prince only has 1 hit point (after jumping through a mirror in the palace environment, for example).

Hey Norbert,

thx for the introduction about the guards.
I already know some of these hints - but maybe I can find some new for my next mod.

Could you please post my levels in the "custom levels"-section of popot.org?
The other Prince-fans would be pleased. :)

A nice day for all, and a good night for me. :)
Until later.

I did that September 16th. :)
See the front page of popot.org for the link. See also this.
You can even download Total Pack and it will list your mod as being installable/playable.

Very relaxing levelset, although not hard. I have enjoyed.

I don't know which level is the hardest one yet. I liked the scene with falling on the guard during 4th stage, it was cleverly designed.

Oh, by the way, are you aware of fact that we can take LP (this one supposed to be drunk by shadow) at 5th level? :)

Hi Jakim,
thx for your comments.

Its great to hear that you enjoy these levelset. In my opinion, it is important to have a lot of fun with Prince of Persia, too. So I want to create more funny und interesting levels in the next PoP-set.

To Level 5: You can get the LP ??
Hmmm ... thats surprisung. Can you tell me, how did you get it? Im shure this is impossible ...

Greetings,

Thomas

By the way: Did you find the potion in level 9? :)
