There were tons of pirated games on popuw.com. And I checked the first link and it was the actual file.

@programmer: Seriously, all you have to do is wait for 15 secs. for the linkbucks page to automatically redirect you to megaupload, or if you're impatient, there's a "Skip This Page" link on top. No-one's forcing you to pay anything, and indeed, no-one's even forcing you to download it at all. There are far better ways to get pirated stuff (*cough* torrents *cough*) for those who care. I'm sure tristan1991 just posted the links as he found them on another site.

As for whether these links should even be allowed here, that's for the site owner (Poirot?) to say. If he feels there's a danger of the site being forced to close because Ubisoft might come after him or his ISP or his web host, then he's well within his rights to immediately delete these links. But till he says something, I guess it's ok. After all, PoPUW operated for ages and had tons of similar links to all the PoP games, and nothing happened at all even though it was way more popular than this site. Eventually it did disappear, but that was due to unrelated reasons I guess and not copyright concerns, if I'm not mistaken?

If this was the case you should have contacted an admin so they could sort out your previous account, rather than made a brand new one.

hi there. got a little problem with the download. got it, unzipped it and i just have some so called "sr-pop.r5" datas (different numbers at the end). don't really know what to do with it now. please help >.< never did this before

@SilkTheRaven: Can you let us know the exact names of the files extracted from the archive? Do you see a .RAR file anywhere? If so, just download WinRAR or 7-Zip and extract the RAR file. All the rest of the split archives should automatically get extracted as well.

I have Windows XP. extracted the files already with 7-Zip (so original like "SR.part1" RAR-data) and then I got this R03, R04, R05 datas (like "sr-pop.r03"). well... I have never seen this datatype before

Those are all parts of one big archive. Choose the first one (r01) and make it extract with WinRAR or such and it should extract them all.

2 extracht whit winrar or winzip
3 open setup
4 install
5 after installing you can play the game
