Prince of Persia around the world

Post by mk1995 »

This is an idea for a mod that hit me a few moments ago. Not wanting to lose such a great idea I decided to open up this topic to share it with you guys.

Basically, what this mod is about is Prince traversing through various levels, each containing a sight. I decreed that there may only be one sight from each country.

Sights I might use: Brandenburg Gate, Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Taj Mahal, Cheops Pyramid
As these are only five out of twelve sights, I'd like you to suggest more of them.

Regarding the story, I thought it to be about Prince being thrown in front of/into one sight where he is to find the exit door and magically ends up at another sight, going on and on until he's went through every sight of the game when he'll face Jaffar and save the princess.

Your thoughts on this?

Just to make something clear: I will not reply to daft PMs like "Where can I find X?" or "Can you give me a link to Y?". Most of your questions are likely answerable if only you took your bloody time to look through these forums and use Google if all else fails. Sheesh...

Hm, it's pretty interesting. But it would take a long time - creating different pictures for all levels (i wanna see how u make "eiffel tower" level).
If u have a lot of desire, free time and an ideas, it could be successful. If u need a helper for this, i could be one ;)
Were you already thinking about place for final battle with Jaffar? I'm wondering what it will be.

Well, I was thinking about using dungeon graphics for all the levels that are outside and palace graphics for all the inside levels. Not really "pictures".

kk. I think u could use standard graphics, just construct levels different ways for each of them - e.g. Eiffel Tower should be constructed as "tower", so like level 12 in pop1.

Uh, i really wanna to help you in creating some levels of that, i hope you will need staff c:
