Thanks for warm words, but I'm really don't think that I'm the best. I'm practice from time to time(not regular) and I spend a lot of time on my business and family.
Objectively, Bap and yaqxsw are the best now (just my opinion).. but I'm hope that I'm still third or at least in TOP-5 players :)

(sorry to Norbert for offtopic)

I've added a link to the ZIP file that contains Prince of Wateria to the first post of this thread.

In level 12a, the second life potion is a tribute to tacosalad's Potion Puzzles.
Also, in that level I decided to add several paths the player can choose, after mk1995 suggested something along those lines.

At least half of the levels of this mod are (far) too difficult for casual players. If you are unfamiliar with the more advanced Prince of Persia 1 tricks and only have limited time to spare, try finishing one of the easier levels (like 4, 9 and 12a) or try obtaining the life potions in rooms you've managed to reach. There are eighteen life potions in total and none of them are unreachable.

(Because once you open an exit door, the game lets you enter ANY door that wasn't the level entrance door)
I didn't plan that as an option, but I think it's awesome that you found that shortcut. :)
This is very interesting for me as the author, to hear about things I didn't foresee/expect to happen.

Ugh. I tried playing the mod yesterday. Didn't put much time into it, as it was late at night, but I was unable to advance more than a single room in Level 1 for now. Goes to show how rusty I've become...

Somehow, I don't feel like I'm going to enjoy the difficulty...

Just to make something clear: I will not reply to daft PMs like "Where can I find X?" or "Can you give me a link to Y?". Most of your questions are likely answerable if only you took your bloody time to look through these forums and use Google if all else fails. Sheesh...

As I am temporairly retired from POP I decided just to give it try (if I am honest, I couldn't ignore it ;) ) I must say that your mod is really amazing! Graphics and story are quite original, and gameplay is really hard, too hard for me (an "unusual POP mods player"), clearly it had to take a lot of effort to make it. The effort is worthy, if there is no effort things won't be as you imagine. I tried just to see the graphics (the graphics are what most attracted my atention).
The day I turn back to POP mods I will play it as long as I can.

@mk1995 & robert:

Thanks for trying the mod.
Yeah, it is difficult; some levels are a bit easier (like 4, 9 and 12a).
Easier to just watch the walkthrough videos. ;)

Switch gears and treat it like a long-term project. This game is something special.

So far I've only gotten past 6 rooms (or so) but I can tell each room took a lot of careful tweaking and play-testing, so I'm perfectly content to spend as much time as it takes to work through them one-at-a-time. They aren't trivial, but they yield to experimentation and creative play--just make sure you don't trap yourself by trying the same unsuccesful things over and over!

Despite Norbert's observation that it's not a beginner's game, if the rest of it's anything like Level 1 then it it could be a good game for a beginner who wants to improve his skills...and who has enough time to devote to it!

Yes, simply drag and drop the EXE file on the DOSBox icon.

- - - - -
Or, if you want it more difficult, try:
1. Start DOSBox
2. Enter: mount c C:\Users\Khushal\Desktop\temp\Prince_of_Wateria\
3. Enter: c:
4. Enter: PRINCE.BAT

Or, create a shortcut. See:

Now playable online as well, here and here.
Also mentioned on a Hungarian retro games website here, I guess only David can read that. ;)
