I've just read this http://www.popot.org/documentation/docu ... Images.pdf,
But it didn't help me.
I wan't to add the color red to the princess' palette. But I don't know how to do that.
Thanks for support.

How to add an additional color to an existing palette?
Re: How to add an additional color to an existing palette?
Better to just use SDLPoP.
Re: How to add an additional color to an existing palette?
Not an option because I've already edited a lot of frames with PR.
Re: How to add an additional color to an existing palette?
You should be able to just copy the frames you've already edited into SDLPoP's directories.
Re: How to add an additional color to an existing palette?
But PR and SDLPoP call images by different names.Norbert wrote:You should be able to just copy the frames you've already edited into SDLPoP's directories.
To solve this, I think I should add something like music/names.txt...
A palette in PoP1 can't have more than 16 colors, so you can only replace one of the colors.elmaton wrote:I wan't to add the color red to the princess' palette.
The palettes are in the *.pal files.
You can edit them in a text editor, each line contains RGB values.
Re: How to add an additional color to an existing palette?
I just edited a palette with text editor and the color should now be red. When i open the picture in gimp then it uses the old palette, how can that be? I edited the palette inside the folder with the pics in it.
Re: How to add an additional color to an existing palette?
You need to import the images with PR, then export them again.
This will put the changed palette into the images.
