Prince of Persia v1.0

Hey guys,

Prince of Persia 1 and 2 are two of my favorite games of all time. Good to see a web presence these days representing these old classics.

I've been searching around for a floppy disk image of Prince of Persia v1.0 for DOS. Anyone know where could snag one? I have clean copies of Prince of Persia v1.3, v1.4, and Prince of Persia 2 v1.1 direct from the floppies/CD if that's worth anything to anyone. I'm also looking for cracks for any of the above versions.

I see Andrew around here compiled a Prince collection with the games and some homemade cracks. This could satisfy one or both of these things, but there is no active link. Is he around?

I'm still very much around, though not much is happening nowadays when it comes to discussing the original DOS versions. Unfortunately, the existing download links for my PoP - TUC v1.3 are all dead, and the last version I made of my collection i.e. v1.4 is on an old HDD (and I think a CD) that's lying in storage elsewhere (never got a chance to upload it since the PoPUW site went down). So as it turns out, I don't have a copy of my own collection at hand now. Wonder if someone has v1.3 and can upload it somewhere? All it's missing compared to v1.4 really is the cracks I made for PoP v1.4 and PoP2 v1.1 respectively.

As for PoP v1.0, I guess perfectly playable versions can be found here: http://www.princeofpersia.ppa.pl/down.html. So unless you're specifically looking for a floppy image, that should do I guess.

Would it be possible to upload a file listing of all three somewhere and also an SFV (can be created with a program like this)? I currently have versions of these that I re-downloaded recently when I wanted to play them once more, and would like to compare the file sizes and CRC/MD5 checksums to see if any of them have been edited in any way.

Yeah, I'm looking for a floppy image, but only because I want to make certain I have a clean copy of the game. If you know for sure exactly what files were installed from an original v1.0 disk and have their crcs and timestamps, that could be a nice backup option if I don't find an image.

@Butcher: I was indeed talking about PoP - TUC v1.3 and v1.4 (and not the games), but at least PoP - TUC v1.1 is now available thanks to you.

@duke: I don't remember where I got the PoP v1.0 files (I may have extracted them from a floppy image), but AFAIK they're clean. The file Butcher linked to should contain what you want.
