But seriously, I doubt anybody here knows. You might wanna try and ask Jordan Mechner himself why there's no V1.2... But there's no V1.1, either, and we don't complain about that, so why should we complain about the nonexistence of a V1.2?

1.1 and 1.2 might have been internal builds that somehow never made the cut for a wider general release. Maybe they had bugs and were pulled. Who knows? Of course this is a guess, but if true, I doubt we'll ever get to see them and probably there're no copies in existence unless for some strange reason someone saved a copy of versions that were never released.
