I look forward to reading the book myself, in particular the more recent notes Mechner has added in the margins - because I've already read the journal itself years ago.

I'm reading that, as of November 2020, an audiobook of the journal is also available for purchase.
It is narrated by Yuri Lowenthal, who voices the prince in the game franchise, and includes a preface by Mechner.

And a limited collector's edition.
