Oops, you're right!
The Settings link has wrong color.

I think you should change ".header" to "li.header" in the two rules you changed earlier.
That's because the dark background is applied to "li.header", not simply ".header".

Right, thanks for your solution, I couldn't find it. I have changed it and it looks like all's fixed. (Also check the attachments page once). Hopefully it works now?

For some reason the forum marked all posts in the moved threads as unread.

Seems like there's a bug in the PHPBB forum? Topic created by Norbert, but in the notification log, it's showing me that I created the topic! Or maybe it just picks up the last post and show the username?

Now and then forum users have requested their account deleted. I'm guessing because these users want to transition into a new phase in their lives and/or might feel disillusioned, and want to leave their past behind by setting it on fire - by burning their boats/bridges. One problem with such deletions is that information, including topic readability, might get lost. We may want to think about how we'll deal with such requests in the future. An alternative could be modifying the username to random characters, and adding a signature to the account such as "This user has left the forum."

On 11 August 2013, "programmer" had their account deleted (probably per their request) with the help of mk1995, and on 20 January 2021, prince777 had their account deleted (per their request) with my help.

Unfortunately, a new deletion request has recently arrived, from 4DPlayer.

What do you all think?

I have just created a "mod" BBCode. It basically allows to reference a PoPOT mod number instead of copy-pasting the complete URL.

Use:

[mod]0000001[/mod] 

to reference the original one (mod name 0000001).

I don't know how useful it would be, but maybe. Maybe PoPOT should convert requests without leading zeros to valid ones, and then it might help.

Sorry about the long delay responding. Yeah, I have been very inactive lately. My life has gotten much busier, I tend to prioritize work-related stuff, and also the longer I stay away the harder it seems to be to 'get back into it'...

I see forum.princed.org now supports IPv6.
(I found this out from the Moderator logs page, it shows IPv6 addresses for the latest entries.)

Fun fact: If I ping the server then it turns out it has a different name.

www.princed.org also supports IPv6 and it resolves to the same address.

princed.org is different, it is IPv4-only.

In 2016, I decided to take a PoP break (after a conflict with Andrew), though eventually shorter than I expected.

For the time being I won't be actively participating on this forum.

External forces will soon force me to take another break. This break will be about 4 to 5 months. So, if in the near future I've noticeably been away weeks, that period must have started. I should return reinvigorated.
