I see (in your screenshot) that, for you, it doesn't work without "www.".
It doesn't work because adblock blocks the entire page.

I suppose it's just a missing DNS entry
This has been fixed by the recent migration (the new hosting ISP), by the way.
http://princed.org now simply forwards to http://www.princed.org
Should help get this website a bit higher up in Google's results.

It was not.
It was created by seekvisum (Alexander).

Norbert wrote:Even obscure questions (e.g. about the Dreamcast release date of PoP3D) that I've tried to use to keep spam bots out get properly answered by 'spam bots'.
In other words, people in poor countries get paid to answer such questions, or something like that.
(Bots probably collect all the questions and then these people get long lists of all such questions and try to answer them, which will give the bots access.)
What I've done now is changed the question into a statement that says visitors need to e-mail to get their account added.
Let's wait a couple of months, see how this works out.
It doesn't seem to be working 100%.

On the one hand, people seem to not understand how to register this way, while on the other spammers still occasionally register.

Examples of the former are:
-----
In the shoutbox, yaqxsw wrote about Khushal64n6 a while back:
> yaqxsw: He trying to register but on that page there is a section "CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION" what I need to type in there?

In the shoutbox, yaqxsw wrote about Dan Prince recently:
> yaqxsw: norbert, dan prince try regist in us forum
-----

An example of the latter is:
-----
Recently someone e-mailed me to get registered, e-mailed me information and whatnot, and after I'd registered that person, the first post (s)he made was a well-known spam sentence. (I searched it via Google and recognized it on other forums. Plus the sentence had nothing to do with the subject of the (random) thread where (s)he posted.)
-----

Not sure what to do next.

Dan prince didn't understand meaning: This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

What should he answer?

Dan Prince should on first send to your e-mail info@popot.org.

For example:

"i will regist your forum cause i want play levelset and discuss with other player. My login will call Dan Prince."

and Norbert programs so, that registration under Dan Princes e-mail was admissible.

Its right?

Yep, as I wrote:

I thought this was clear...

...but apparently, it's not.

I will change it back into a regular question that people can answer, and we (the mods here) will just have to go back to removing spam that gets posted.

[Edit: I've changed it. It now asks who originally created Prince of Persia. Welcome back spammers... :|]

What meant this?

"The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator."

I don't know (yet).
Where does it say that, is it something you or someone you know ran into?

I think his English is just limited.
He probably received an e-mail that says his account is inactive until he clicks the link in the e-mail to verify his e-mail address/account.

If he's not up to the task himself, someone else could do it for him.
You could, for instance, create a Hotmail or Gmail account for him, and then use that e-mail address to register an account for him here.

I would like to suggest partially changing the structure of the forum.
This is what I have in mind:
Norbert wrote: PRINCED PROJECT
Announcements [this will include the threads of "Community Weblog" (which has 7 threads from 2004/2005) and "Princed Project latest news", both will be removed from the TEAM STUFF PRIVATE FORUMS section]
General Stuff [this will include the threads of "Other PoP related", which will be removed from the OTHER STUFF section]
* PoP1 Quarterly Modding Contest [becomes a SUB-board]

NEW LEVELS AND MODS [a new section]
New levels and mods for DOS [current name is without "for DOS"]
New levels and mods for SNES [no longer a SUB-board of "New levels and mods" and a slightly different name]
Walkthrough Videos [no longer a SUB-board of "New levels and mods"]

LEVEL EDITORS [all the boards in this section no longer end with "level editor"]
RoomShaker
apoplexy
Pr1SnesLevEd [a new board]
Princed [moved here from the PRINCED PROJECT section]

TOOLS [a new section]
Princed Resources (PR)
Other Tools [currently called "Tools"]

POP GAMES
Prince of Persia 1 for DOS [added "for DOS"]
* Power Playing
* Simple Questions
* FreePrince [becomes a SUB-board, moved here from the PRINCED PROJECT section]
Prince of Persia 1 for SNES [a new board that will contain the SNES related threads currently in "Other Platforms"]
Prince of Persia 1, other platforms [no longer a SUB-board of "Prince of Persia 1"]
[the rest (PoP2 and further) stays the same]

INTERNATIONAL
[stays the same]

OTHER STUFF
Off-Topic
["Other PoP related" is merged with "General Stuff" in the PRINCED PROJECT section]
Introductions
Some reasons for the suggested changes:
- "Community Weblog" contains almost no threads and in no longer in use.
- "Princed Project latest news" and "Announcements" are very similar.
- "General Stuff" is similar to "Other PoP related"; a lot of threads currently in "General Stuff" belong elsewhere.
- "PoP1 Quarterly Modding Contest" can become a sub-board of "General Stuff" because it's currently not in use.
- No reason not to move the board with SNES mods to the same level as the general (DOS) board.
- Three boards about mods is enough to warrant a section.
- No reason to add "level editor" to the level editor boards, because they are in the LEVEL EDITORS section.
- No reason why Pr1SnesLevEd shouldn't have its own board in that section.
- The "Princed" board can be moved to LEVEL EDITORS to keep the level editors together, which is also easier for new visitors.
- It's more orderly to keep the boards about tools together and separate from unrelated boards.
- "FreePrince" is currently a 'dead' project, so it makes sense to move its board under Prince of Persia 1 for DOS as a sub-board.
- It's easier if all SNES related threads from the "Other platforms" get their own board, also no longer a sub-board but on the same level as the general (DOS) board.

All this is just a suggestion.
Let me know what you think...

All right. :)
I'll wait a while longer to give Enrique and others time to voice their opinions, and if nobody appears to object, I'll implement the changes.
