One of the background images of PoP2 contains Arabic text.
(mirror)
Someone on IRC explained the text to me.
It's a reference to the book ...
(mirror)
... كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة (a.k.a. One Thousand and One Nights).
كتاب = book
1000 = الف
ليلة = night
و = and
(I've been trying to get that '1000 = arabic' as 'arabic = 1000' for 10 minutes, but without success. )
Arabic text in PoP2 background
Re: Arabic text in PoP2 background
Google translator says it's Book of One Thousand and One Night.

Re: Arabic text in PoP2 background
I remember there was a topic about this on PoPUW.
I found the solution:
[LRO][RLE]الف[PDF] = 1000[PDF]
الف = 1000
or: (Explicit Directional Isolates were introduced only in Unicode 6.3.0 - at the end of September)
[RLI]الف[PDI] = 1000
الف = 1000
Ah, the wonders of the Unicode Bidirectional Algorithm...Norbert wrote:(I've been trying to get that '1000 = arabic' as 'arabic = 1000' for 10 minutes, but without success. )
