David's PoP2 level editor from 2007

As an answer to Norbert's question at viewtopic.php?f=73&t=3208#p12220

If so, do you still have the latest package? I always thought RoomShaker II is the only PoP2 editor out there.
Yes, I made a PoP2 level editor, some time before RoomShaker II. It had a topic on POPUW. However, people said that RSII is easier to use, and they're probably right...
I've attached it to this post.

Thanks, David. Cool.
The oldest file in the package seems to be from March 27, 2006. I guess that's approximately when development started.
This version seems to be from March 19, 2007, given the date of the executable.
About half a year before the first RoomShaker II was released (on October 8, 2007).
If you don't mind, I will add the editor to popot.org next weekend; will also update the Modding Timeline there.
Gotta give props to the old school pioneers. ;)

[Edit: Alright, created a page about it at popot.org, here.]

David has written this about PoP2 for SNES editing:
David wrote: June 25th, 2015, 11:22 pmLevels have the same format as in the DOS version. (Although they are compressed.)
But the problem is that the level graphics are stored as pre-made graphics for each room, and editing those would be very hard.
