Enterprise version?

Post by Norbert »

According to this Hungarian source, the Amstrad CPC port was made playable on Enterprise by Geco (in July 2006).
But there is no download link.
Is there any proof this version exists?
I see David mentioned Enterprise here, here and here, but my guess is he simply copied the Amstrad CPC info?

Okay, the relevant thread appears to be:
https://enterpriseforever.com/cpc-r337l ... of-persia/

I see 4 different ZIP files on that website that may or may not be various iterations of the Enterprise version:
1. https://enterpriseforever.com/cpc-r337l ... ;attach=81
2. https://enterpriseforever.com/cpc-r337l ... ;attach=69
3. https://enterpriseforever.com/letoltese ... attach=401
4. https://enterpriseforever.com/downloads ... CPC%5D.zip

And apparently it's #2 in a top 10 Enterprise games list published in ENTERPRESS magazine.

But there is no download link.
First, click the tiny back-arrow in the bottom right corner of the page.
It takes you to the list of games: http://www.ep128.hu/Ep_Games/Games_OP.htm
Here, click "Prince of Persia" to download the game.

Yeah, this was a rather bad design choice.
Maybe they thought that people would come to the info page only through the list of games (which also has the download links), and not through direct links from other sites.

BTW, PoPUW also has a page about this version: https://popuw.com/ep128.html
But it doesn't say where/how to download it.
