Of course, this option doesn't have to be mandatory, there could be an option to turn during-level music off so its only fanfares and cutscene music that plays, but it would be nice to have the option to fill the silence with some music of our choosing.
The way that I think would be best to implement this feature is to make a new music folder or use the existing one to drop audio files that have unique filenames from all the other ones, and the game randomly chooses which song to play for each level. To make it even simpler, the music files could follow the format: music#.filename so it's easier to code.
This isn't a feature that has to be implemented, but it would be nice!
Custom music DURING level?
