The symbols above the teleports

I'm wondering if anyone paid attention to the symbols above the teleports on level 15:
They are the Eastern Arabic numerals from 1 to 7:
(١=1 ٢=2 ٣=3 ٤=4 ٥=5 ٦=6 ٧=7)
The digits have a Perso-Arabic variant as well, with different symbols for 4, 5, and 6, but this is not what PoP uses:
(۱=1 ۲=2 ۳=3 ۴=4 ۵=5 ۶=6 ۷=7)
Maybe the developers/artists didn't know about this variant.
Additionally:
* The modifier of each teleport matches the meaning of the digit above it.
* The numbering of the teleports matches the order in which you see them.
