Great work with the video, you forgot to explain better all the tiles layers, and also if the changes will be made only for the current level, or for all levels that use same tileset?? Same for sprites, will change all guards or just one in the level??

You right , but my video explain only how to change the palette/color with some exemples , I will not discribe all layers but just how to "read" them and change them.

Also good question, Indeed if you change the color of the sprite it's for the all game ( include "sprite palette" "hardcoded palette" ) for the "environnement palette" it's only for the levels who have the "brown dungeon" set like level 16 17 18 ( with the exemple of my video )

If you open the "environnement palette" of level 1 and then the palette of the level 20 ( royal palace set ) the color are different it's logical.
Try some ROM/HACK test it's the best way to learn.

And yes, if you change the color of the green guard for exemple it's for all level, you cannot create copy of copy of the same guard.

So bad, the only real limitation i have found to the prince snes is that, if that could be possible to fix or hack, will allow this be the best of the prince versions, in my opinion, some other tutorials, for triggers or other stuff, will be also good.
