Does David's editor have a logo?

David, does your SNES editor have a custom logo?
When I run the program in Wine, I see this image:

Is that just a default image of Windows or your programming environment, or a custom logo you've created?
If the latter, do you have a larger version of it?

If it doesn't have its own logo yet, maybe we could have some sort of logo design contest?
Everyone who'd feel like it could design something and you could pick a logo you like.

Or maybe the logo could be a selection of a group of tiles from the SNES graphics.
For apoplexy and the favicon? of popot.org I simply used the Prince's head (of the DOS version).

Just some ideas, maybe everything is good right now and a custom logo is unnecessary.
The reason I was thinking about this is that maybe the SNES editor could/should have its own board in the "Level Editors" section.
Which in itself is also just an idea that may or may not be worth investigating.

I think your idea is interesting. Maybe making logos will atract more players to give a try to our mods. Besides, it would looks nicier. Also I think Pr1SnesLevEd should have its own board.

Just giving my opinion

So worth it, for both the board and the logo.

It's the default icon of applications made in C++Builder 5. (http://www.functionx.com/bcb/controls/images/form5a.gif)
(Actually, it should be 32x32, with different colors, and it's an image of a skyscraper - "Builder", get it? :) )
Of course it can be changed to something better.

If suggestions would be posted in this thread until, say, June 30th, maybe you'd like one of the logos.
Good idea, or maybe you feel like creating a logo yourself?
Are there any conditions that need to be met?
Do you think a link to this thread from the Princed website and/or Facebook page would be useful?

On a related note, how about your program's name?
Currently, it's something random I picked here.
What I like about its current name is that it's unique.
That makes it easier to find web pages that mention it (examples: 1, 2, 3).
But is it 'cool' enough to stick with? Maybe it is, I don't know.
Its current name could be(come) just a "working title" or "temporary codename" or something.
I would like to mention the application's name in the "Prince of Persia Modding" video...
...and I want to make sure you're happy with that it currently is.
(Or the video could be outdated rather quickly. ;))

First logo idea: the prince on the cover of the SNES packaging.

Here are a couple of examples of 32 by 32 pixels from the game:

All images can, of course, be scaled up without using interpolation (example in the lower right).

- F*** you sir
- Prince recieved a blow on his head
- Undecided :?:

What do you think?

I think your post should probably be moved to the PoP videos / images (or a similar) thread.
This thread is basically about David's program, in particular its logo.
Unless you think a good logo for it would be the prince flipping off a guard. :)

Application icons preferably need to look good even at smaller sizes, like 32x32 pixels and even 16x16 pixels.
This is because they can appear not just on the desktop but also on the taskbar, in menus, and on the titlebar (usually the top left).
I started this thread wondering if David's editor has its own titlebar icon or not.

Mmm... you're right, the post should be in that thread. But first I'm going to resize the images to a bigger size, so don't move the post yet. Better you delete it.
Sorry, I misunderstood the main intention.

This is a reply to David's post here.

A transparent background: maybe; what to do with the prince's eyes...
In the image below you can see the prince on various backgrounds (the top being transparent).
For each of these backgrounds, the eye colors are from left to right: dark blue, gray, brown and light blue...
...with, for each eye color, four different locations of the eyes: none (upper left), full (upper right), bottom (lower left) and top (lower right).
Fully dark blue eyes are okay-ish, I guess.

I've given the other images I'd collected another look and think these two may also be potential candidates:
