Re: Level editor for the SNES version
Perhaps I should make Remix 3 for the SNES version?

Re: Level editor for the SNES version
Yeah, that'd be interesting! But you'd have to make it REAL long. 20 LEVELS! That would be really awesome! The first full SNES mod!

Re: Level editor for the SNES version
I just (sorry, I swear in normal conversation sometimes, but it doesn't mean anything. To anyone offended: please excuse me) fucked around with the first and last levels (I have a few savestates) and I have to say, this is really fun!! I made the 6 armed guy from level 17 in the first dungeon, chasing you around when you don't have a sword. xD And also jaffy got chomped. This is some really fun stuff! XD

Re: Level editor for the SNES version
Remaking Level 1 of Remix 3 by hand, this is hard. But it looks terrific!
8) Don't worry, I'll make a DOS version of my map as well.
EDIT: David, could you add a toggle for double resolution? It is a little hard to work with when I have a large resolution. xD

More like "Jaff - err - man".Eagle-Head Priest 97 wrote:Jaffy? I call him Jaff-erman
Also, I'm working on the five training levels. So far I've got two done. It's quite difficult because you have to pay attention to the little details the Japanese decided to put in. Ergh...

Re: Level editor for the SNES version
Why just 5 training levels, why not a whole levelset, it is far more impressive to make a whole levelset. xD Also, where is that link to version 2 you promised? And where is version 3 with double resolution toggling, Daaaaaaaaaaaaavid?

Re: Level editor for the SNES version
I want to start small first, so I can get a feel for the editor. Also, training levels needn't be long.AuraDragon wrote:Why just 5 training levels, why not a whole levelset, it is far more impressive to make a whole levelset. xD
Uh... Today's Saturday. You can expect it tomorrow, at earliest.AuraDragon wrote:Also, where is that link to version 2 you promised?
Re: Level editor for the SNES version
yes that error i get yesterday too but the link is working nowAuraDragon wrote:Proxy Error, says the file was moved "Here" (meaning a different site) but that link doesn't lead anywhere interesting.
>_< Shit why didn't I see this sooner!?
Re: Level editor for the SNES version
I've updated the editor:
The link is the same: http://www.freeweb.hu/princepersia/en/snesedit_dl.htm
Added features:
* Double size can be toggled in the menu.
* Show tile number in status bar.
* Some minor bugfixes:
- disable the Level menu if no level is open
- don't load anything if the level selection dialog is cancelled
If you still have problems, tell me and I'll attach it to a post.

Strange, I never had any error when I tried to download something from my site.AuraDragon wrote:Proxy Error, says the file was moved "Here" (meaning a different site) but that link doesn't lead anywhere interesting.

Re: Level editor for the SNES version
Thanks for adding my request. Say, think you tile shortcuts (example: hit 1 or something to place the tile numbered as 1 to the selected spot, would help for quick editing) and maybe display a bit of the adjacent rooms for easier navigation.
(Edited, you already added room cleaning.)
Thanks for reading my requests, David.

Re: Level editor for the SNES version
Sorry for the double post, but this needs to be bumped because:
The new version won't let me change attributes, this severely hampers my abilities to make maps. >_< Thanks David.
