Yes. It is a special Skill Level A. I found a technique to fight him with but even then I only had 1 life left. Glad you and your son liked the game!

It's a fake loose tile. It will bounce when the prince jumps to it or jumps up on it. It works like a loose tile only it doesn't fall when the prince jumps to it. The way not to get bounced off is to walk off the tile on the left and then hold on to this one

YURA, I also noticed what you did on Level 13. You found the way to Jaffar! Not even I knew about that route :

Well, this button (circled in blue) corresponds to the level door. So, you need to push that button and find your way to the level door. Perhaps I'll better explain in my coming video of Level 13. Here's level 1: Beware! I'm not a skilled player!
