Hi. Prince of Persia has "special events", see the PDF here. Some of these special events can be modified by creating a custom PRINCE.EXE with CusPop. But you can't really create your own custom events, unless you are a programmer and modify SDLPoP. One way to raise a gate when a guard is killed is through level design, by making the guard fall to his death onto a button, see the attached example image.
