To be honest, I'm not really sure. I just liked the vibe of the place.

Playing other old games (mainly Doom and Morrowind these days), playing music in a band and reading a lot.

I already had a hunch you're British when you mentioned Timothy Spall and Jessica Hynes.
(Obviously) I knew Doctor Who is British, but I don't think I knew Judge Dredd has British origins.

Ok, never introduced myself properly, so here I go.

1. How did you find this forum?

If I recall correctly, I was searching for a forum where people would talk about the SNES version of Prince of Persia.

2. Why did you join this forum?

I found out that there were SNES mods of PoP1, and decided to download both level editors for SNES (apoplexy and Pr1snesleved), but didn't join the forum until a month later when I both needed help with some tools on Pr1snesleved (which I eventually found easier to use than apoplexy) and wanted to implement more stuff that was not part of the original game.

3. What are your main hobbies? (besides PoP)

I compose music (which I am studying), play instruments and sing, draw, audio engineer, sometimes play other games, and more plus SNES PoP1 modder

Current? I'm not so sure, as I mostly go to superhero movies lately, but from 20th century cinema (in no particular order of preference, and those that I can come up in mind right now): Clark Gable, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Vivien Leigh, Christopher Reeve, Charlton Heston.

Used to have a dog as a teenager.

Blue; more specifically a darker/deep blue (some people call it Indigo but I always though that one is between the dark blue and violet). Red has slowly become another one I like.

Pizza and Discada. Neither.

Favorite song is A Day In The Life by The Beatles. The Beatles are my favorite musical group. Current favorite singer, Adele. Favorite male singer, probably Jose Jose, and female probably Karen Carpenter or Jeanette (the latter is still active, and on good days she can sound like in her prime).

I rarely watch any sports or TV. I used to play basketball, but had to abandon it to avoid possible damage to my hands (as I mainly play piano).

Though it was actually around 10 days ago, I have officially been a member of this forum for one year.

It's been pretty crazy, I originally lurked around here to see if anybody was discussing the SNES port of the game, and now I have just finished a mod of it; it is also my first mod overall.

It has been a fun ride, and I'm sure it'll still continue to be as such.

Even though it is pretty quiet around here, when somebody posts something (related or not to any post of mine), I go and read it. If I have something say, I do so.

I only wish that I had known about this forum 5 years ago, to discuss more frequently. Yet, it is still nice to find a few people still around to talk a little about Prince Of Persia.

By browsing the web looking for tricks to enhance my personal best. I was especially looking for the trick to skip the end level music, and was a bit disappointed when I realised I just needed to switch the sound off

Well, I had it in mind since I discovered it, and in the end I think I spotted a bug in SDLPOP which blocks Repetition of Time on level 7, so I thought I might as well report it.

3. What are your main hobbies? (besides PoP)

Okay, I'll make a list

• Tabletop role-playing games (I'm currently GMing on Pathfinder Second Edition, on Amber Diceless RPG and on a not very well-known french RPG called Hellywood and inspired by the film noir genre, and I'm a player in an Ecryme campaign, which is also a french RPG set in a post-apocalyptic steampunk universe)
• Fencing, especially épée since 9 years and foil since 2 years. I think I'd like to try artistic fencing one day, but there aren't a lot of clubs around...
• Cinema and movies in general, especially westerns and swashbucklers I spent less time in theaters last year than before, because of my other hobbies...
• Video games, especially (but not only) RPGs, like Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, etc. I'm currently spending a lot of time in Red Dead Redemption 2, which isn't a RPG but a western so that's another one of my hobbies...

I'd say For a few dollars more. Not the best western I ever saw, and not even the best Sergio Leone, but I really like it and it was the first Leone I watched when I was a kid, so...

PoP 1 on MS/DOS. That's how I discovered it around 25-30 years ago, and in my opinion it's the best version (the SNES is more beautiful but it's almost another game itself).

I never thought about it, probably Spring since it's not too hot but still enough to take a walk outside without catching a cold.

21st Century Schizoid Man, by King Crimson.
Progressive rock is without a doubt my favourite music genre, and Pink Floyd is on top of it (but the best album of all time is In the Court of the Crimson King, by King Crimson).

Formula 1 to watch (it's perfect to take a nap on sunday afternoon), and either fencing or skiing to practice.

It was a suggestion by the popot.org site and also I am a fan of DavidxNewton on youtube and he told us about it while talking about modding in prince of persia

I've always been a huge fan to prince of persia since I was 4 when I finished it for the first time in our DOS computer and untill now I never stopped playing it and it is still my most played game of all time and I always wanted to talk and interact with other fans to the game and make mods and discuss things about it

I am still beginner but I am leaning computer programming out of school and even participate in competitions like in "codeforces" I also play PES too much with my friend and I am still not really good at it.
