Just out of curiosity, what kind of machines do you guys have ( I mean PC system specs )?
Also, if you feel retro, here's a remake of an old game that I liked... Supaplex. It's free , and really damn difficult

My fastest PC has an i7-4770K, 16G DDR3, GTX 1060 6G, 250G SSD.

I suggest using
Rocks 'n' Diamonds instead (
download links).
Like Megaplex, it includes Supaplex, but it's free software and cross-platform.
I agree with Coco that Supaplex is entertaining, give it a try!

Hey yeah! Supaplex was based on that one I think. Never played it though.
EDIT: My bad, supaplex was based on
boulderdash. Has that one too in here.
i7-4770K
Lol. My strongest PC has amd atholn x2 250.
Another recommendation for fast processor owners:
universe sandbox 2. Not a free game, but really great fun. Educational too...
EDIT:
Though I still recommend megaplex for Supaplex. You can skip levels, and change resolution, game speed, etc...

In
Rocks 'n' Diamonds, it is possible (via Setup -> Game & Menu) to change the Game Speed and allow skipping levels (turn off Handicap).
Resolution changes are possible with newer versions, including scaling and anti-aliasing.

Let's see. The PC I'm currently using has...
* CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ (single-core, 2 GHz)
* RAM: 2 GB (DDR2)
* HDD: One 500 GB, and one 1 TB.
They are considered slow.
* video card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (integrated). The
Unigine Heaven benchmark runs with an amazing 2.3 FPS on it.

* monitor: Samsung SyncMaster EX1920. Its maximum resolution is 1440×900. (
*Not* 1920×1080, despite the model number. The "19" refers to the size in inches.)
* sound card: Realtek (integrated)
* OS: Windows XP SP 3, 32-bit; plus two Linuxes (Elementary OS and Ubuntu)

This answers my question
here.
Related, when you semi-complained
here that some YouTube videos don't play for you, I contemplated jokingly commenting that anything still working with Windows XP is a small miracle.

Why XP? W7 should work just fine...

My desktop system has:
* Intel Core i5-3550 @ 3.3 GHz (Ivy Bridge)
* 16GB DDR3
* AMD R9 290X
* 500GB SSD (Samsung 850 EVO), plus some older drives that I kept around
* Sound card: Xonar Essence STX
* Monitors: Eizo Foris FG2421, HP LP2475w
* Windows 10 Education 64-bit (VMs: Windows 10 Education, Ubuntu 64-bit - actually, I can run nearly all Linux software that I need on
WSL)

Did you consciously get this one, or was it already part of the system?
Anything in particular you use it for, other than regularly listening to music?

Yes, I very deliberately got that one.
The on-board audio of my
motherboard wasn't very good, and I also wanted a good amp for my headphones (that's what I mostly use it for).
I use a hotkey to switch between headphone and speaker output, using this application:

I currently have an i7 4770k, 8 gig or RAM and a GTX 1080ti. I won't be buying any real upgrades (Maybe more RAM) for the next 5 or 6 years...
