For this you need a custom PRINCE.EXE file, which you can create with CusPop.

Search for "Set up the winning screen" and change the values.
Then press the "Get the file" button.

there is not program which create/edit color of a wall
If you not a programmist, take ready colors of a wall

The easiest way to change (wall) graphics is as yaqxsw describes, to take .DAT files from another mod. (You can simply copy your LEVELS.DAT in the directory of another mod that has colors you like.)

If you want to customize the graphics yourself, you can read this. (That document mentions PR, gpl2jascpal and GIMP.)
The easiest way to change graphics is by keeping the palettes intact. Then you can 'simply' open the Colormap window and use only the colors that are readily available.
Either way, all this requires an investment of time and energy, you'd need to study how to do this. It's not magic.

There is an image at the bottom of my post that shows these steps.
1. Make an empty folder somewhere. I called it edit.
2. In edit, make a pr folder, and copy PR there. [Edit: The files from the src\bin\ directory. --Norbert]
3. In edit, make a prince folder, and copy Prince of Persia there.
Open the Command Prompt. You'll probably find it in the Start Menu.
4. Copy the full path of the edit folder.
5. In the Command Prompt, type cd, a space, and paste the path you copied (with Right-click -> Paste). Press enter.
6. Copy the following command and paste it into the command line. Press enter.

Code: Select all

pr\pr.exe --resource=pr\resources.xml --export=resources prince\*.DAT

7. Now some text appears on the screen.
8. Wait until it stops.
9. The unpacked resources will be in a new folder called resources.
Now you can edit the images.
You should start with something that you can see immediately when you start the game.
For example, resources\title\main titles\main background.bmp.

After you finished editing, copy the following command and paste it into the command line and press enter.

pr\pr.exe --resource=pr\resources.xml --import=resources prince\*.DAT

If you see the question Replace? [Yes/no/all]:, press a.
Wait until it stops.
Now start the game. You should see your edited graphics.
