KID.DAT page on PoPOT

Thank you, in http://www.popot.org/ there is no place where submit a KID.DAT?

I see a vdungeon.dat gallery, a vpalace.dat gallery, why not a kid.dat gallery?

Cool, I hope that it will motive other modders to make more KID.DAT modifications.

Really interesting variations, why the snes ones does not have transparency..

The game creates the transparency by 'ignoring' one of the colors of the palette.
(The first color in the colormap.)
Usually that color is black, but since the game ignores it, any color can be used.
Apparently, the color aqua (#00fcfc) was used for most of the SNES images.

I'm afraid that some of these have the wrong author.
Just because Total Pack had a mod with a certain KID.DAT, it does not mean that it originally was like that.
Remember, you yourself complained about Total Pack messing with the graphics files: viewtopic.php?p=9732#p9732

Now, some corrections.

The prince in black comes from KX - Out of Time.
(BTW, PoPOT's copy of the KX mod uses the wrong palace graphics. I still have the original archive from 2005 if you need it.)

I think all the SNES princes were made by Brain from the PoPUW forum: http://www.popot.org/popuw_forum_archive/1333a.html
(Again, I have quite a few original ZIPs from him.)

My notes say that the PoP2 prince was made by BlackChar. (The info comes from the Total Pack graphics selector, I think.)
The red-clothed prince is by hanswurst, by the same source.

With the correct VPALACE.DAT. Also comes with a few readmes and wallpapers that are not in PoPOT's version.

Thanks for the overview.
I did fix the VPALACE.DAT of KX - Out of Time and updated a related screenshot.
And I added three new KID.DATs by Brain that weren't listed yet.

Yeah... Everything else I will probably never fix.
Because I'd have to spend my limited spare time doing annoying work to fix something not caused by me.
It's overwhelming too, the amount of work. But even in batches there's just no way. :|
