Here is the release for Secrets of the Citadel, version 1.2.

DOSBox is not needed! Just start the game by double-clicking "secrets.exe" on Windows.

Norbert is also providing a Linux binary in the package at popot.org:
http://www.popot.org/custom_levels.php?mod=0000153

This is the 'definitive' version of the mod, I think. (although I could do maintenance updates in the future, if needed)

Please see the post above for an overview of what's new!

Good luck, and happy holidays! :)

You have every reason to be proud! Designing levels is not easy. ;) Creating this levelset is seriously one of the hardest things I have ever done...

(I'm currently at level 4 of Twisted Ideas, by the way.)

I'm happy that you're enjoying my levels, and I understand that you want to record using DOSBox, but playing in DOSBox is not intended!!
I created a custom version of SDLPoP especially for this mod. If you do not use that, you will miss out on the good stuff, and there will be glitches, like in the video.
Also, I see you modified the graphics from the original.

If you want to play just one particular level from the mod, you could do this:
Open "secrets.exe", press Ctrl+P, type level number, press enter.

But, Suave, don't!
Since there aren't the solutions to the easter egg level, I will need your walkthrough, so you'll have to replay them to collect all the bonuses :D

Merry Christmas everybody!

Falcury, you could ask the Total Pack author to modify his program to detect whether the mods' executables, mentioned by name in mods.xml that his program relies on, need DOSBox or not.
If he's unable to code such detection, I can modify popot.org('s XML files) to include related information.
You could also contact poirot to request he Facebook/Tweet about your updated mod.

Although it might be better to wait until SDLPoP's replay functionality has been fixed.
I'm one of the people still looking into that.
Personally, I'm holding off on playing until native recording works properly.

Did you use the custom SDLPoP version that is included with this mod (by starting secrets.exe)?

OK, that wasn't clear to me :)
And nicely done, just a few more levels to go right? ;)

By the way, could you instead post the walkthrough videos in the thread in the Walkthrough Videos section?
Thanks!
