Jeff's Levels (WIP)

Post by Jeff Tyler »

[Jeff replies to this. Split the thread per David's request. --Norbert]
Norbert, thank you so much for this manual, it's great! I'll take a closer look some later.

Can you test my first 2 levels for POP1? :) You are an expert in such things.
I need to know can I continue or it's so bad that I need to stop it immediatly..

This file works good in v.1.0 (that is in archive with apoplexy) but on my v.1.4 it looks very bad, many sh*t pixels.
I've tried to make levels not easy but with several logic.

When you want v1.4, you need a package that has a PRINCE.EXE with all resources enabled:

I currently have no time to playtest levels, sorry.

I completed both levels.
They are good, you can continue. :)
It took some time to finish them, but not too much.
I also found the big potions.
(But I can break one of them too easily without noticing. I admit I found it only after I looked at the levels in an editor.)

Nitpicking: Level 1 has a column (pillar) that holds nothing (room 5 top-right).

Norbert, is it possible to move the post with the levels.dat (and everything after that) to a new topic in "New Levels and Mods For DOS"?
