PoP: Battle Hardened with Vengeance

I recently felt of creating a new mod, where I plan to continue the storyline of the 1st Battle Hardened. So plotwise, this would be Battle Hardened 2. In this mod, there is a new chief antagonist, Nazaam, with Jaffar being pushed back to be a secondary villain (well Nazaam is a modified character from one of the existing characters already in the DOS game).

In short, this mod would feature the usual swordfighting, while bringing back elements that were lost in Battle Hardened (After thinking it over, I thank the constructive feedback given that there were no puzzles in that mod). Yes I incorporate the puzzles, although not really complex ones (my skills at puzzles are still not insane enough ;D ). I try to make it a combination of Combat & Adventures (my earlier mod) & Battle Hardened, & in fact, in my own opinion, a little trickier than Combat & Adventures.

I will try to put in info about this mod as soon I can, screenshots if possible.

I recently finished the levelsets after about two weeks with some adjustments from Butcher's Cuspop. So now I'm working on the intro, trying to come up with a proper storyline.

By the way, do you mind if I gave you a little help refining the palace background a little? Sometimes it seems like I'm the only one who actually can do that properly.

By the way the "sky" was done by making changes to the Dungeons environment with PR. To try and be in line with a storyline, I wanted to create an outdoor feel & so the dungeons level appears only once.

As for the palace levels, I admit to using the offline Cuspop and did the best I could with changing the palettes and colours of the background. MK, thanks for the help, but I sort of feel that in the mod's storyline, I would prefer the Prince travels through an old, ancient, ruined palace.

Is the using savegames possible? I really lose patience on level 8, it's disaster to start levels again and again, and start new session from level 1 again(

The version of the prince.exe is 1.3.
When I tested it, the game couldn't load when I pressed Ctrl+L. The game crashes when I attempt to load the saved level, so unfortunately I had to disable this feature.

But by the way, there may be a key to get through Level 8. There are few things to take note...
Firstly, be sure to loosen every tile on top of most of the gate triggers.
This level also requires you to travel back and forth in order to reach the room where the mouse would then help you open a gate.

Of course I understood idea of lvl 8, it's quite obvious. But it's annoying start new session from levl 1. Your MOD is good and interesting, but seems too long without savegames.. I hope someone add it to Total Pack and savegames will work.
TY for levelset, it's really nice, one of the best I played.

I've been looking at ways and means of working on the savegames. I've opened up Cuspop again and played around with v1.0 of the Prince.exe. There may be a few changes but most of the features would still stay the same. So what I would do is upload another .zip file containing this new prince.exe. Savegames would be no problem if the prince.exe is PoP1.0. After a few testings, I will upload it and then hopefully it's gonna be more enjoyable :)

This is the original Battle Hardened 2, with the Prince.exe being version 1.3. Note the savegames has to be disabled or else the game will crash when you try to load a saved game.
