My son and I are playing... we will pass half of the 1st level... I'll post a video... while we are in room 21 and think about how to get through the gate-bars...

Yes, doesn't work properly, at least not with regular 1.21.

For me, after the level restarts, the original level 1 is loaded.
Is this what you mean?

SDLPoP writes an error message to the console, saying "Mod 'Nastier Dungeons' not found".
To fix this, I extracted the mod to a new folder named "Nastier Dungeons" within the mods folder.
@YURA, @Norbert, you should do this.

The released versions of SDLPoP don't even open a console so this message is not visible.
I added a more visible error message: https://github.com/NagyD/SDLPoP/commit/ ... be63572063

On my system this wasn't enough: I have to start SDLPoP from its own directory, otherwise it can't find the mods folder.
(I.e. if I just double click on the replay file then I still get the error message above.)
SDLPoP uses stat() to check if the mods folder exists within the SDLPoP folder.
But since my SDLPoP is on a path which contains a non-ASCII character, stat() runs into the same problem which I already solved with fopen(), chdir(), mkdir(), and access().
Namely: with SDL, the EXE path is in UTF-8; but on Windows, file-related functions expect paths in the current codepage.

(Are there any other file functions which SDLPoP uses but don't have this problem solved?)

@YURA, @Norbert, you should do this.

I always thought that SDLPoP replay files contain whatever level(s) were recorded. I've always been under the impression - and still are, to be honest - that it's not necessary to have a mod to replay that mod's recordings. So, isn't that a bug, that the original level 1 is loaded?

I too thought you don't need a mod folder to be saved in the mods directory just to replay the p1r file... Can't the required data be saved in the file itself and then it's loaded? Or maybe used as a backup in-case the mod folder isn't saved on the disk? Or something like that?

Thinking logically, I should just and just be able to share a file so someone else can download, double click it and start watching the video (with other things such as speeding up, moving to next room, etc).
