I still got the same error message. Is the file name supposed to be in uppercase? I was unaware that case sensitivity mattered here...

Also, I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to command/code language: by "pass" do you just mean running it the same way I had before?

Which Windows version?
Can you private message me the file, then I will try it myself, to see if the result is different.
Letter case shouldn't be an issue on Windows.

Maybe I'm asking a stupid question, but was C:\ the current directory?
You can use the CD /D C:\ command to "go to C:\" as Norbert wrote.
And *then* run the gpl2jascpal pink.gpl command.

I apologize for my late response, I'm not always available to work on this. :P

Windows Version 6.3.9600
I tried sending the palette file but the forum told me it was an invalid filetype.

I double checked to make sure I was running the command with C:\ as the current directory and when I ran it the most recent time it gave me an error saying "[FAILED] could not create pink.pal: Permission denied!"

That's Windows 8.1.
PretzelGalaxian wrote:I tried sending the palette file but the forum told me it was an invalid filetype.
You could put it in a ZIP file.

But there's no need for that anymore.
Just run the command as administrator.
If you don't know how, then you shouldn't be using gpl2jascpal anyway.
Problem solved. :)

I'll put future files in zips when that issue occurs. I ran the command as an administrator and it worked fine. I appreciate all the help as always. Not sure why it gave me the first error though.

What is the exact part that you do not understand?
Did you try anything, and, if you did, did you get error messages?

Are you asking for help? :|

If you are, you need to do more than write you can't create a file accompanied by a screenshot where you circled the icon of the GIMP program.

You will need to describe in detail:
- what exactly you've tried - the exact steps you took,
- the expected result,
- the actual result,
- all warnings and error messages,
- all text that is not fully clear to you,
- everything else that might help us help you better.

First image at "8. Saving and Converting a Palette" shows how to save the .gpl palette.
