Post by elmaton »

I've just read this http://www.popot.org/documentation/docu ... Images.pdf,

But it didn't help me.

I wan't to add the color red to the princess' palette. But I don't know how to do that. :?

Thanks for support.

Better to just use SDLPoP.

Not an option because I've already edited a lot of frames with PR.

You should be able to just copy the frames you've already edited into SDLPoP's directories.

But PR and SDLPoP call images by different names.
To solve this, I think I should add something like music/names.txt...

A palette in PoP1 can't have more than 16 colors, so you can only replace one of the colors.
The palettes are in the *.pal files.
You can edit them in a text editor, each line contains RGB values.

I just edited a palette with text editor and the color should now be red. When i open the picture in gimp then it uses the old palette, how can that be? I edited the palette inside the folder with the pics in it.

You need to import the images with PR, then export them again.
This will put the changed palette into the images.
