"Percy Lancaster 3D" is not 100% a PoP game, but is inspired by it.

Re: Percy Lancaster 3D
It's probably not surprising that the game doesn't start on Windows XP.
I might try it on Linux as well. (with Wine)
This is actually a HTML5 game, but according to a comment here, the author bundles it with a certain browser engine, because the scrolling is not smooth in all browsers.
Although it's possible to extract the game's files, all the JavaScript is compiled to bytecode, so I can't try it in a different browser. Go figure.
From the video I see the graphics is 3D, the gameplay is 2D, but there are a few places where you can turn 90°.
I think this is called 2.5D.
The jumping looks quite unnatural, and he just walks in the water as if it was air.
The author refers to this as "he still does not know how to jump and to swim".

Re: Percy Lancaster 3D
It does start, but I couldn't get further than the loading screen.
At least it could reach 100% (after a few minutes of waiting).
50%: 100%:
UPDATE:
If I set "Lights" and "Graphics quality" to their minimums, then the loading finishes much faster.
But then the game crashes. Here is what it writes to the console:
Code: Select all

I tried to start the game a couple more times, but this time it didn't even crash!
It just got stuck on the loading screen at 100%.
Weird.
BTW, I found something interesting on the author's site.
Click "More games". Can you guess what's that in the bottom right corner with the dice and the cards?
Re: Percy Lancaster 3D
Hi!
I am a developer of "Percy Lancaster 3D".
I have not yet tested my game for browsers in Linux, iOs, MacOs and Android. But I'm going do it later. And now I am focused on the Windows version.
The build is updated. I have worked on character's movement and game quests. Alsow the demo is abaliable in Steam. But I still have troubles with graphics and skeletal animation, because I'm a programmer and not a modeler...
I will be happy to answer questions and receive suggestions.

Hey, that's pretty cool.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1125 ... Lancaster/
Once released, if it's not too expensive, I'll pick it up.
Thanks for your posts on this forum.
