I also had opened it in VLC when I found the orange guard. Alas both windows media player and the default player for win10 (called films and tv?) do not open it at all :?

I think VLC is not playing it properly.
Actually, it is a good question how David records his videos.
I've always wondered why they never include any audio.

Indeed, I found out the same:
In VLC the last guard is orange; but in other players like FFplay, VirtualDub, WinAmp, Media Player Classic, or Windows Media Player he's purple.
It's probably a bug in VLC Player.

If I recall correctly, videos recorded with DOSBox use palettes.
It seems that VLC Player can't handle palette changes.

I think this is the bug we are seeing.

I usually remove audio to make the file smaller.

I've recorded this again and I kept the audio.
The guard's color is still orange in VLC and purple in other players.
In the game itself he was purple.

I can play the video in Windows Media Player.

Did you install the ZMBV codec?
Here is how to do it: https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Recording_V ... ured_movie
After that the video should play in Windows Media Player.
For the "Films+TV" app this is not enough. Maybe on 64-bit Windows it can only use 64-bit codecs. (The ZMBV codec that comes with DOSBox is 32-bit.)

As said here, I tried to go through all the walls on the same day and found one but forgot to record and upload and then later got busy. Finally found some time now and here's the video:





My intution says there should be two or more such places, but I haven't found any yet... Maybe in next few weeks :)

Found another, but this one dies on the available room, but fun to get through the walls. I think you can almost get through any wall if there's any wall below you. Just (mis)align yourself and you can go through...

Just another level bug

Yes, I have seen these secret levels/rooms and I certainly don't find the topic where this was discussed
What I really want now is to know Why are they generated?
Why they have random tiles?
I found this one in my first level 13 in test mode at the Room 0 by the bottom, days ago I found other one at the bottom of original level 12a, again by the Room 0 at the bottom
Adm, mdr please merge this post with the correct topic.

I have found two more. In the first one, the Kid doesn't land in a weird room. It's using this trick.

Those are not the coordinates where I found it, I found it at the bottom of room 4
Make a bad hold or drop in room 8, when you arrive to room 4 resurrect and it may appear , this does not always happen.
Does DOSBox/SDLPoP usage modify this, I found it in DOSBox.
