Hello Im looking for something that can randomly generate pop1 levels. I seriously could swear that I saw a link to something like that somewhere but I can't find it. Does anyone know of one?

Hm. So, is the Random Tournament at popot.org just one version of what his package can generate?
Maybe the contents of the ZIP needs to change, since it's now just a dump of what I found in the Total Pack at the time.

The apoplexy level editor can also create randomized levels, simply right click (on any tile).
And SDLPoP's built-in level editor has Ctrl+Shift+r to randomize a room.
These levels most likely won't be finishable though, since they are still too random for that.

To have a Random Tournament that is actually random, you need to use the Total Pack: http://www.popot.org/other_useful_tools ... otal_Packs

It seems to prefer walls for some reason...

Yes. They can be used only as a starting point for making levels.
(Somebody wrote about doing this but I can't find the post.)

And there is this topic: << Ideas wanted for random level generator >>

There is also this: viewtopic.php?p=17864#p17864 (PoP remakes on GitHub)

It's generated randomly, then it's "fixed", i.e. the code (consistency.c) searches for things it "does not like", and changes them.
(Think of the "search errors" feature in RoomShaker.)
But last time I saw it, it had no option to save the generated level.

I really do want mods with randomly generated levels, like Spelunky. I have a copy of Spelunky's Game Maker file, and I have noticed how levels are generated. (The room path, room templates, obstacle tiles, probabilistic tiles, etc)

PS. I can't finish Spelunky without Shortcuts
Prince of Persia with random levels would be INSANE.
