You're being nice to the guard.

A new bug I discovered recently:

By the way...
But then the timing has to be more precise, I think.
See, for example, here.
Some players can bump into walls while doing it.David wrote:I guess the most used trick is: if you press down when a loose floor lands on you, it won't hurt you. (But only if you won't bump into a wall.)

Here some tricks
Re: Guide to Prince of Persia tricks (Large Topic)
The first trick is similar to this, and the second is similar to this.
Looks like the game has problems with collision detection if two adjacent objects need checking.
I found the following trick in mk's The Princess in Danger, level 2. (Although it doesn't have to be used there.)
The following tiles are needed:
wall-empty-floor-floor
floor-button-wall-wall
If you want to go from the top right to the bottom left without touching the button (for example, because it's a close button), walk to the edge, turn around, run forward once, turn around, and jump.

Probably a bit more well-known trick, but you're right, it wasn't mentioned in this thread yet.David wrote:[...] If you want to go from the top right to the bottom left without touching the button (for example, because it's a close button), walk to the edge, turn around, run forward once, turn around, and jump.
Here's a video of the trick:

You can use that too. As Mirages of persia level 11 beginning (by Bap)

Another trick with chompers:
If you grab a ledge after falling, and there is a chomper in the row below the ledge, it won't start chomping after you release the ledge. This trick can be used on the original level 9 (in the room where an open button is behind the chomper).
