Level 5: (completed)
Spoiler: show

So I was right: I had to take away the ray gun from one skeleton, and it can melt ice blocks.
End of level 5.

Level 6: (completed)
Spoiler: show
Full map of level 6:

This level has some floors that appear and then disappear.

The hardest part is getting to the first blue potion.
Can you figure it out?

Some backgrounds remind me of Another World, especially this picture: http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/screens ... rld_11.png
I think the manual is also hinting towards this:
Wie in einer anderen Welt präsentiert sich das versteckte Tal hinter dem Gebirge.
~~~
Like in another world, presents itself the hidden valley behind the mountains.
End of level 6.
Level 7: (completed)
Spoiler: show
Full map of level 7:
This level has some black dogs (the manual says wolves).
They are not friendly at all, because they will tear your head off! :shock:
The first of them is invincible (shows no HP), but at least the rest aren't.
The second half of the level has many doors (teleports).
I guess I should mark which door leads where.
It seems the columns were copied from Another World: http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/screens ... rld_16.png
End of level 7.
Level 8: (not finished)
Coming soon.
Cool. So, how did you take it?
I know it's possible to get close to a skeleton by waiting for it to leave the current screen and return, but what key(s) to press?
There is a hint in the third picture of the slideshow... (SHOW.EXE)
Level 8: (completed)
Spoiler: show
Full map of level 8, with annotations:
You start this level in a place oddly similar to the PoP2 temple. (And some other parts of the level have the background from the PoP2 ruins.)
Beware, lava drips from the ceiling! If you touch it, you lose one HP.
There are seven doors in the "temple" area.
Each leads to a different place, and each has a sign next to it. (One door leads to falling into spikes. Ouch.)
To complete the level, you need to find the seven guards and defeat them all.
When you defeat a guard, the screen flashes and some ugly demon thing flies up from the dead guard. :shock:
However, if the guard defeats you, he will tear off the kid's head, just like the dogs on level 7.
Each door will close after you defeat the guard behind it and come back to the "temple".
A new item is the red potion, each gives you 3 extra HPs.
After you defeated all guards, go back to where you started from, and the game ends.
Then it will show a slideshow with the same pictures as SHOW.EXE, although with different text. (About your adventures in past tense.)
End of level 8 and the game.
Looks like the Runen author wasn't all that worried about copyright violations.
Yeah. He even wrote his full address into the text files, (unknowingly?) allowing authorities to track him down, if they want to.
If I paste that address into Google Maps or OpenStreetMap, it even finds the exact building. Scary...
And let's not forget that the full version cost money (DM 29.-), which probably makes the violation even more severe.
(Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer.)
By the way, how far did you get in the game?
After I'd obtained the passwords I only played it a bit more here and there to get a feel for the rest of the game.
Your screenshots (and accompanying texts) allowed me to see the rest of the screens and elements. :)
