How to play levels?

IM REALLY HAVING A REAL HARD TIMR FIGURING OUT HOW TO PLAY A CRETED LEVEL, WOULD SOMEBODY HELP ME?

Just save it in the .dat then run the game, make sure the edited .dat is in the directory where the game you are running is.
