Well, semi-hidden.
At the bottom of the About page is a link to the parent directory where it lists the "archive/" among other things.

Three images by castpixel (Christina Antoinette Neofotistou).
In Pico-8 format, so 128x128 pixels (scaled x3 for the images), 4-bit (= 16 colors).

Nice!
FYI, this is her original post: https://twitter.com/castpixel/status/906562537445056512
And this is Mechner's reaction: https://twitter.com/jmechner/status/906573402831552513

I found that by her name. When I searched by the pictures in TinEye, from the second picture it found pictures of the skeleton fight from the actual game! It's *that* similar! :)

The second picture (with the skeleton) reminds me of the Atari ST port: http://popuw.com/atari.html
Hey, is that potion used as a weight to keep the button pressed? :)

I just found this video: http://www.maxlefou.com/discographie/cd ... e-de-perse
It's a French parody of the "Prince Ali" song (from Disney's Aladdin), with clips from PoP1.
I don't speak French, but it still made me laugh!

BTW, it's from the same person who made this bug report: https://github.com/NagyD/SDLPoP/issues/137

I like how the chomping fits into the beat of the music. :)

Did you do this because Jakim recently returned to the forum?

No, I got in touch with him to ask some things about his Chomper Dance before he revisited this forum. I added the Chomper Dance page because I think it's one of the coolest PoP1 and PoP1 modding fan works. I'll explain why. :) The prince is so comfortable with his dangerous surroundings that he's essentially dancing with the chomper. To me that image kind of embodies our community and our combined skills and deep knowledge of the game. Plus, as I also wrote here, the chomper is arguably the most recognizable and unique element of PoP1. It is PoP1. Even the sound effect alone has a nostalgic appeal. Because of all this, the Chomper Dance feels like a celebration of PoP1 and, since we control the prince and put him in this setting, of PoP1 playing and modding.

Bunch more.

Sword fighting is supposedly by "E. Matskevich". Mentioned here and here, among other places.

The (other) black and white drawings are by Kozlik Mozlik a.k.a. Сергей Козлов.

PoP also at about 0:29 in this YT video that is originally by YT user RockyPlanetesimal.

Are these all illustrations or covers of the "Prince of Central Planning" novel?

Additionally, at 1:30 it shows PoP2, and at 2:31 it shows Karateka (NES).

By the way, the title of the video means: "Go Right - Recall Your Childhood with Side Scrolling Video Games".
Well, although I recognize many of the shown games, I played only a few of them.
And even fewer are those that I can say are part of my childhood: PoP 1 and 2 (DOS), Lion King (DOS), and Aladdin (SNES).
And maybe Karateka, but I played the DOS version more than the NES.

I didn't even knew he had a daughter...

So, did they make PoP2 shirts when that game was new?

Neither did I. And this year he suddenly mentioned her (at least) twice.
(The other mention I know of is here.)
Since I think he divorced Hills, maybe it's a daughter of his new partner.
Or maybe he deliberately never mentioned her to keep away the media/fans/whatever.

That there used to be child custody issues or something.

Actually, this is from December 2015:

Maybe they just hit a rough patch. Who knows.

I found another picture with the Prince of Persia (PoP1 DOS) hidden among lots of video game characters:
https://scepterdpinoy.deviantart.com/ar ... -704088972
He looks quite odd without outlines, because most other characters do have outlines.
Maybe it's to match how he looks in the game?

(Should there be a separate topic for these kinds of images? I.e. where PoP is just a small part of the whole.)

The prince looks remarkably bad compared to most other characters.

Maybe if we run into lots more of these in the future?

Video my bro made, along with a cool PoP remix. Would love to see PoP running on an engine like this!
