poirot, when you work on the new CusPop again, can you please also include this hack:
viewtopic.php?p=11122#p11122
Shouldn't be too much work, since David wrote: "Also, the included 3env.txt lists all the modifications I made to the EXE."

Also, in the drop-down list where users select the version, you may want to include entries for all versions that check everything in the "Customize allowed resources per level" section.
That stuff is so important, I think almost everyone who knows what the resources are will want to have them all enabled.

Would having the source code be an end by itself or a means to an end?
Either way, Groody, as a non-copyright holder, is not in a position to publish the code.
We'd have to ask Mechner to ask Groody, I think.
The code itself could be useful to find exploits/bugs, and could simplify making modifications.
Other than that, there are copyright/trademark problems, even with FreePrince.
Maybe we should let sleeping dogs lie, I don't know.
Anyways...
I've contacted Lance and he has forwarded the request to Jordan.

Hi Lance,

Thanks a lot for getting back to me and for forwarding the request!

I was thinking that you, the programmer at the time, are in a better
position to make/forward the request to Jordan. I'm just a random
person; Jordan knows you. :)

Yep, we know those images are in TITLE.DAT. We can extract all the
images, change them (including pallets if we feel like it) and import
them. See, for example, these screenshots:
http://www.popot.org/custom_levels.php?mod=0000047
http://www.popot.org/custom_levels.php?mod=0000034
I was thinking that maybe you picked the font and created the image.
Apparently that's not the case. ;)

Thanks again for your e-mail.
I wonder what Jordan's response will be like...

Best regards,
Norbert

Also, please include the three changes I've suggested here. :)
