Nice! :)
I see there can be different torches in the background, and the mods page has some "banners".

I've improved the email service. In the past, the emails that subscribers received only had links to mod pages. These emails now also mention the name of the person who commented or added a replay, the name of the mod, and a link to a new Email Service page that explains how to unsubscribe.

Also, as explained at the end of this page, mod authors may email a 1280 x 256 pixels JPEG that will then be used as the mod's header image instead of the default carousel slider at the top of the mod's page. This should allow mod authors to give page(s) about their mod(s) a more personal/themed touch, if they want.

Two examples are the new header images of Prince of Wateria and Micro Palace.
The "Time to move." text fits with the theme of the latter, because, as its cutscene text explains, the prince and princess have to move to a smaller palace.

Page URLs have not been changed, so no links were broken in the process.
Really cool design, good work. Can you add my multi games level editor to the list.

Probably not important, but...
I figured out why does IE8 display a certificate error for https://www.popot.org/ .
(This is probably also why Total Pack can't connect to PoPOT on Windows XP. See also this post: viewtopic.php?p=21666#p21666 )

Wireshark shows that Firefox sends a server_name header (SNI) as part of the HTTPS handshake.
IE8 does not send that header, so the server sends back some random certificate.
Now, this header is required if multiple websites share the same IP address: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Name_Indication
This is basically HTTPS's equivalent of HTTP's Host header: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_h ... Name-based

Konqueror on Linux does the same, and probably for the same reason.

https://www.popot.org/ displays an error: "ERROR 503 - Service Unavailable!"
What happened?

That's temporary, the content provider is tinkering with the hardware.

Ah, okay.

It seems that only PHP pages are 503, static files still load: https://www.popot.org/popot.ico

Someone contacted me via email.
They ask if I'll add mods with only very few - say, 5 or less - edited levels to popot.org.
To me, those are incomplete mods, and as a general rule I choose to not add them.

I don't think that's unreasonable. Also, I've made exceptions:
- If only the five training levels of SNES were changed (Training Lessons, Iso's Mod (Training Levels)).
- If the mods were part of the original PoP1 Total Pack (Jaffar's Revenge, Prince of Persia - Special edition).
- If it has something other than edited levels that makes it stand out, such as the idea/gameplay of King of Persia and Little Time, and the graphics of Princess of Persia and Ghost of Persia.

If your mod only has 2 custom levels, I suggest you look in the "New Levels and Mods" boards to find other authors who published incomplete mods.
Then together, you could create a complete mod by merging your works together.
You would then be co-authors of the resulting mod.
For DOS, there are actually many of them, for example Horizon, Hezaro-se, (unnamed), etc.

I more or less had to thoroughly redesign the website, because the old version did not properly display on smartphones.
The new version uses responsive web design (video that explains what that is).
If you go to the website, click the title bar minimize button, and then use your mouse to resize the browser window, you will see it in action.
Even if you make the website area really small, you can still properly navigate the website.
The old version was static, practically non-scalable, and small (roughly 1000x600) on big monitors.
The new version doesn't just look better on smartphones, the content area is also much bigger on larger screens.
On a 1920x1080 screen, check out, for example the difference between this new (current) and this old.

Yes, the current site is convenient, but the design of the previous site was very good. I am on this forum will tell you what elements I liked.
