Yeah. More generally, tags might be useful. These would be a bit more versatile, allowing not just a common e.g. "auto-runner" tag, but anything visitors might be looking for. More tags suggestions:
* custom-package (includes mods which only run (or maybe should be run) on SDLPoP/MININIM)
* less-time (mods like You have 5 minutes and Save the princess in 8 minutes can be added).
* huge-time (crazy mods which include 500 minutes or something might be added. Now here, mod authors or PoPOT needs to make a protocol, how much time is considered as huge?)
Edit: Also a validation is required, the same tag can be added from edit mod page. Here's an example (just created for demo, will change later).

Per your suggestions, I've added the forum link, plus the following extra tags: few-minutes, many-minutes, sdlpop, and mininim.
If you or anyone else ever needs more additional tags, simply let me know.
It's true that tags can currently be used multiple times for a single mod, but I don't think this'll be a problem.
The mod is still only counted once in the tags overview, and when searching.
Maybe one day I'll add additional validation.

I think the download mod page on PoPOT should also describe on how to run the mod. People who don't know that the folder should run in DOSBox will just download the file and try to run PRINCE.EXE (double click) which definitely won't run and then they won't try anything else at all. Maybe PoPOT can show tools like poplaun or SDLPoP on the mod page?

So, I guess this addition fulfills the "Genre of Mods" request by kj-5349?
A conversion tag could be added for mods which have levels from other PoP games, like SNES Levels.

Another tag could be added to mods with custom-hacks, i.e. hacks not in CusPoP or Pr1SnesLevEd.
(Although many hacks for Norbert's mods are now in apoplexy.)

And actually I think three tags are too less. Maybe 5 or 7 would do. I don't know the database schema, but if it's stored as a seperate table, you can do it easily, if it's columns, well... well... well!

He added three new columns for the three possible tags per mod, and the new code assumes that there can be only three tags per mod.
So it's columns, not a separate table...
The means that to increase the limit, all the new code has to be changed.
I agree that this is not the best way to do this.
