Hi everybody!!
I have an important question..
I'm wondering how to open the sfx files located in audio root of prince of persia 3d?
I would like to export the audio game effects and music into wav.
It's possible to do that??
thanks
How to open sfx audio files
Re: How to open sfx audio files
I'm not sure if there's an audio extractor available, but if nothing else works you can aways try Audacity and record the audio as the game's playing.

Yeah, Audacity rocks. I've had to use it many times for extracting game music. It really helps because it's free.

If topic is still relevant, here you can download Prince of Persia 3D music extractor.
Re: How to open sfx audio files
You can also use Audacity's File -> Import -> Raw Data.
Use these settings:
Use these settings:
Code: Select all
Encoding: Signed 16 bit PCM
Byte order: Little-endian
Channels: 1 Channel (Mono) (or sometimes Stereo)
Start offset: 32 bytes for *.sfx files, 0 bytes for *.data files
Amount to import: 100%
Sample rate: 22050 Hz
