First, about how I found it.
I was searching for "persia" in the folder where I keep the BK-0011M emulators, and I found something in C.BKD that was in andos330.zip (See the link at the top).
It is a list of games. The relevant part is this:
Code: Select all
PRINCE - Игра "Prince of Persia" Для спасения принцессы не-
8 тыс. обходимо за час обойти, сражаясь со стражниками,
множество подземелий. Автор - В. Погорельцев.
So there is a PoP by V. Pogoreltsev.PRINCE - The game "Prince of Persia" In order to save the princess need an hour to get around, fighting with the guards, a lot of dungeons. Author - V. Pogoreltsev.
Remember, the already known PoP for the BK is by Evgeny Pashigorov and Pasha Sizykh.
Then I searched the net for Погорельцев prince.
I found some documentation in Russian: http://bk001x.ru/load/opisanii/opisanij ... 1-1-0-1170
and a file list: http://archive.pdp-11.org.ru/BKGAMES/pa ... _Files.txt
This is the interesting part:
Code: Select all
[+]D03S12.img/ПОГОРЕЛЬЦЕВ/PRINCE
PP_CRACK.EXE
PRINCE.DOC
PRINC#
LEVEL.B
LEVEL.C
LEVEL.D
LEVEL.E
LEVEL.F
LEVEL.G

Code: Select all

Of the two interesting disk images, I could not get D03S12.img to work, but D01S15.img works.
Here is how to run it using BKBTL:
* Turn on the View->Toolbar, View->Keyboard options.
* Put D01S15.img into drive A:.
* Type 000B (zero, zero, zero,b) and press enter. (This means: Boot from drive 000.)
After some time, a file list appears.
* Select PRINCE.EXE and press enter.
The intro says: coding by Pogoreltsev Vitaliy.
After the princess image disappears, the game pauses itself.
* Press any key to play.
The game works, although it's not full screen.
The levels and the movements are different from the original.
Keys:
Arrows: Move.
Down: pick up things.
Space or Numpad 2: Jump forward.
KT: pause + show remaining time. Continue with any key.
There is a screenshot at the bottom of this page: https://code.google.com/p/bkbtl/wiki/Screenshots
It probably looks better in black and white.
