Prince of Persia

i would like to use the 'Super' Prince used by RUINEN1000 in his YouTube(tm) walkthroughs, the one with the red cape.

can somebody guide me what files to copy and/or edit to do this

You can either use Total Pack or copy files by hand.

Total Pack is available here:
http://www.popot.org/other_useful_tools ... otal_Packs
Select the mod, click "Play", then select the Character Graphics tab and pick "Knight" or "Battle Hardened 2".
(Also set the other level graphics using other tabs.)

Or, by hand, you would copy KID.DAT from another mod that uses the caped prince.

However, note that using a different prince impacts what tricks are possible.
Trick 83, for example, is not possible with the original prince. The trick:



And when I changed the prince to make somersault (salto) jumps, he could go straight through walls (see the bottom video there).

i prefer doing it by hand. makes me look smarter, like i'm a hacker or something.

i don't want to use Total Pack then end up ranting like Malvivio.
